Could Utah have a law, which requires parents to get health insurance for their children? Governor Jon Huntsman Junior says he's considering all options, but adds those mandates are sometimes the only way to "get an outcome that is desirable."

He says it would take more than one plan care to cover the 88,000 Utah children currently without health insurance. However, he's not ready to entrust to a single insurance plan. He does say he would push for more funding to re-open enrollment for CHIP - the state's health plan for children.

Other proposals would certainly be ready for the 2007 General Legislative Session
