The announcement came one day after Anthony Brown, O'Malley's lieutenant governor organization mate, talked about proposals to cut prescription drug costs for Marylanders.

O'Malley says statistics given by the United States Census Bureau explain that the number of Marylanders without health insurance increased from approximately 650,000 in March 2002 to 810,000 last March.
