Tbilisi. June 22 (Prime-News) – Lado Tchipashvili, Georgian Healthcare Minister does not exclude possible starts of conversation on introduction of put into practice of obligatory health insurance.
The practice is employed in a lot of countries in the world, Lado Tchipashvili told journalists on Thursday.
According to him, now Georgia is looking for moderate taxation, but conversation of introduction of the practice of obligatory health insurance should start by all means.
As for other forms of insurance, the government would contribute to work of the private insurance companies, the Minister said.
By now there is not legislative base in Georgia to make employers make sure health of employees.
