In fact, state statistics show, 93 percent of all Pennsylvanian’s have some form of moreover private or publicly-funded health care coverage, and more than 92 percent of all the state’s children have health care coverage.
The state has come a long way while the days of the War on Poverty. In 1966, for example, it was one of only six states to implement the new Medicaid program.
