Dentists who participate in CIGNA Dental Network Access have agreed to accept a discounted fee as payment in full for listed services performed. These discounted fees are up to 50% or more less than what a dentist would normally charge with an average saving of approximately 30%.

The CIGNA Dental Network Access network of over 50,000 dentists nationally increases the chances of a member finding that their dentist is in the network. In particularly, there is likely to be a dramatic improvement over most, if not all, other dental networks working with discount programs.

CIGNA QUALITY

All dentists in the CIGNA Dental Network Access network must reach the strictest standards. CIGNA Dental credentials all network dentists which includes checking state licenses, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificates, malpractice history, and making sure that their liability and malpractice policies are in force.

In addition to monitoring credentials, because of their extensive information from other programs, CIGNA is able to track member complaints as well as wait time for patients to access a provider.
